Say it with words

Tell that special someone that they’re awesome – with a card that says You Are Awesome. They’re sure to get the message ;)

I was inspired to make this card because I personally would love to get one. The idea of someone taking a moment to send me a card that tells me I’m awesome, well, that’s just cool.

Say it with words: You Are Awesome card

I made this card with some pretty bare essentials. The words are cut out from my Cricut Expression using the Paper Lace Cricut Cartridge and font option. I used the Cricut Craft Room to make the letters how I wanted them, and then they were cut on white, premium acid free, white, 65# cardstock, which has a smooth texture. Then I chose a few scrapbook page patterns that I thought lent themselves to contrasting the white letters. No special reason except that I thought they worked.

The white ribbon is attached by a thin line of craft glue and then, on the back of the scrapbook paper, attached with tape.

The inside is blank, so it’s a great card for many ‘occasions’, including birthday’s, thank you’s, and thinking of you’s.
