I’ve only been back in Delaware for about a week… and I’m already completely ready to go back to either the Middle East or India. This snow is, for lack of a better word, unsatisfactory. Ironically, this is coming for a girl who grew up in the lake effect snow belt of upstate NY (north of Syracuse). I thought I had escaped by being hundreds of miles south, but alas, I have not. But that’s okay – it just means I get to eat lots of soup, curry, and other tasty warm comfort foods :D Some of the foods on these list would certainly qualify as a comfort food for me. I can’t wait to make some of them! (Wish I could make them ALL!!!)

If you’re interested, check out my travel post, all about what I was doing from December 11, 2010 to January 22, 2011. It hardly does the time justice, but how could a handful of photos and words ever really encompass such a trip? I focused my photos primarily on food for the post, hopefully you’ll enjoy it!
